Taraneh and Romina Rahimi are 20-year-old twin sisters. They were arrested after joining anti-regime protests in #Iran.
Taraneh has been sentenced to death. Romina faces decades in prison.
Their family says they were tortured in custody - beaten, dragged by their hair and held in solitary confinement.
More than 900 people were executed in Iran in the first seven months of 2026. Behind the numbers there are people- like these two young women with a mother waiting for them to come home.
