#nowtest - our day 2 test results arrived 15 days late. Serious implications for public safety here. Not "test and trace" in any sense of the words. Not fit for purpose. Yet govt-recommended.

So, 2 weeks after arriving back in the UK, my partner still hasn’t received the tests for day 2 or 8, from #nowtest, and he’s not the only one https://t.co/8vXDAryuM1, @DHSCgovuk need to sort this out, looking like a government sponsored scam right now!

@Iromg #nowtest don't want to speak to anyone. They take your money and don't send the test. Don't want to be contacted either and if you ring their number on their Instagram account it is picked up by an answering service. Government backed rip off!

@Iromg it seems #nowtest the appointed supplier of PCRs to to enter the UK has gone bust?? They're not sending the tests... I'm in day 10 today and still have not received my day 8 test. They do not want to be contacted. Government backed scam!!

Day 8 test has now arrived with a postage label to “Orthologica Labs”. The day 2 test had a postage label for “Oncologica Labs”. I contacted @OncologicaLtd who said barcode of my day 2 test doesn’t match their system. Perhaps the first post label was for the wrong lab? #NowTest

Booked quarantine testing with #NowTest as required and recommended by @GOVUK at a cost of £170. Day 10, still no result from day 2 test and day 8 test has not arrived. No replies to emails. This service is at worst a scam and at best not fit for purpose.

Because I'm still technically (and literally) "awaiting a test result", 2 days after my 10 days quarantine should have ended I'm going to have to cancel my first vaccination. Thanks a heap, #NOWTest Any chance of a refund? Or even a response?

@govuk @nhs... is #nowtest a scam? Recommended as test provider on NHS website. Paid £170. Day 2 test result still pending. Day 8 test kit never delivered. It is now Day 10.

Countless call and emails to #Nowtest, a @GOVUK approved company, with no response. No results from our day 2 test and no day 8 test kit on day 10. Out of pocket, had to find a private company who could actually deliver. Have now requested a full refund 😒 no reply, total scam

Aaargh so frustrating and in the same position. You get told to phone #119 but then they can’t do anything as private providers, even though they are @GOVUK recommended. Unacceptable #NowTest

Just called #nhs trace and trace on 119 to get help with the #nowtest fiasco. They confirm they are inundated with calls on private companies authorised to do day 2 and day 8 test failing to deliver test, enabling return of test and providing results. A total @MattHancock fail

@FarnazDaily @thierrylevy @GOVUK I was told I still have to have D2/8 results. So only option is to pay again (!) and try to claim back. #NowTest has been disgraceful. Needs to get taken of the @GOVUK list

We also paid £170 each w #NowTest (on @GOVUK website) for D2/8 tests but still not received D2 results or D8 test (now D9) so isolation prolonged until we get our results. Delaying our return to work & other responsibilities. No response to emails etc. What can we do?? Furious!

@GOVUK #NowTest is on the government providers list for #Day2 and #Day8 testing. I have paid for kits for my parents and nothing has been delivered. I've emailed and called them, with no luck! Any recommendation what to do?????
