1) Nothing human is infallible. That's why framers wrote reform into Electoral College giving states exclusive right to decide for themselves how to pick electors.
2) With NPV it won't matter where you live when voting: i.e. every person's vote WILL count.
This year I've gotten the most communication from constituents on HB199 for the #NationalPopularVote - there are two strong schools of thought:
1) Our constitution is infallible and shouldn't be "tinkered with"
2) Every person's vote should count.

#NPV101 if @NatlPopularVote end run around E.C. then so was WinnerTakeAll. Jefferson began promoting it over other systems after losing in 1796. Realized could have won if WTA were law everywhere 'cause gives dominant state party choke hold on political power. Done deal by 1880's
