At the #NRBuzz discussion on Creative Commons leo invasion of privacy when sharing art came up nikasema ‘the only person who can get a pass for invasion of privacy ni Cardi B and only three people got it.....naumwa na kichwa saa hii 🙆🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Gathigia - We need to address crediting the original creators of work. Without acknowledging who made the original work, they cannot get recognition for their work and widen their bases. #NRBuzz

For contracted employees: Ensure there is an assignment agreement between parties. Make sure there is clarity on ownership of the creative work in the contract. (You can include moral rights in the contract) #NRBuzz

@creativecommons Q: When a creative works on a specific assignment, who owns the copyright/IP of the output? A: Ensure there is a contract that states who owns(assignment of IP) the work. For full time employees, the work legally belongs to the employer. #NRBuzz
