Great point - I hope that we can bring these elements of history into our project. Showing that history is and can be so much more than that. History is now telling stories of real people and that is crucial. It’s not just about the kings and the dates. #oralhistory #NSHPLaunch

Keith is now discussing the #AugmentedReality element of the project. We’d like to have #AR interpretation boards. Keith has mentioned the #CivilWarTrail in Newark. Some of the Trustees travelled down to meet the Project Lead from the council who gave great advice #NSHPLaunch
They will come across characters along the way who will share with them their personal stories. As Dave has previously mentioned the stories are what is most important and it is here that the research we do will be crucial! #NSHPLaunch
Our idea for this so far is that people will pick up their headsets from a local heritage site and then make their way down the Fish Quay. On their journey they will hear the sounds and music of the Fish Quay. #NSHPLaunch
Dave is now discussing another element of the project which will be the #ImmersiveSoundTrail. He is making reference to the impressive @getnorth2018 AEONS sound trail which himself and Keith tried out last summer. #NSHPLaunch
A key part of the @Heritologists project will be an immersive sound trail along the 'street of all nations', inspired by the #aeons @getnorth2018 exhibit #NSHPLaunch
We’re hopeful that the schoolchildren involved in this project will be inspired to explore their local heritage further when they are back in the classroom. #Education #Heritage #NSHPLaunch
These stories that we speak of are not found in the history books and if we don’t capture them now and pass them on they will be lost forever. We need to act now! #NSHPLaunch
Keith explained earlier how we see #History & #Heritage as being two different things. History records the dates, you can look up the dates and the key players but Heritage is something which is handed down from one generation to the next through stories. #NSHPLaunch
