#NTCSAWesternCape #SMMEWorkshops #BuildingLocalEconomies #SkillsDevelopment On 28 November 2024, the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) held a workshop for small, micro, and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) in Brackenfell, Cape Town, which was attended by over 100 companies. The workshop was part of a two-day initiative to empower and engage local suppliers in the Western Cape on how to do business with the organisation. The funding alternatives and company development services that the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) provides to help firms were outlined. Some of the businesses present emphasised the need to work with reputable businesses that receive high-value contracts for subcontracting opportunities. This project is a component of the NTCSA's Supplier Development, Localisation, and Industrialisation (SDL&I) program, which helps to establish local businesses.
