#Kennedy, the only U.S. president who was strongly opposed to Israel’s nuclear ambitions, was assassinated shortly after the #NUMEC theft. Even his alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, was killed by Jack Ruby, who himself later died under suspicious circumstances from lung cancer

In 1965, Israeli agent Rafi Eitan stole more than 600 pounds of enriched uranium from the #NUMEC facility in Pennsylvania, which was then headed by Mordechai Shapiro. The resulting contamination and fatalities led the incident to be dubbed “America’s Chernobyl".
