It was my Sophomore Year in High School and I was taking a tech college elective.
I sat in the cafeteria with my brother and watched it unfold on the television that was on a rolling cart.
Terrified, we went to talk to our teacher. He reassured us as best as he could and he sent us home to be with our family.
Now, 23 years later, it seems half the globe doesn’t understand the difference between terrorists and innocent civilians.
Instead of a revived unity against terrorism, we are witnessing a revived-indiscriminate hatred towards Jewish people. No matter where they reside on the globe.
The term Zionist once was a term that was understood as refuge, homeland, and return from exile. Especially after WWII.
Now, because people let lies become truth, the term Zionist has become hate speech, referring to colonizers, apartheid and genocide. These terms have fundamentally been redefined.
On 9/11 the world and my 17 year old self, understood that terrorism was evil, sick, twisted and something must happen to stop it. Homes across America made sure to wave their American Flags proudly.
Now 17-25 year olds camp, march, deface, vandalize, torch American Flags all while waving and replacing with terrorists flags. They wear terrorist bandannas, chant and scream to globalize the intifada, meaning, kill all the Jews globally. They call for the entire Jewish state to be eradicated of all who they consider infidels.
I fortunately-unfortunately remember 9/11 clear as day. I didn’t understand everything in my 17 year old mind. However, I understood the evil acts that took thousands of innocent lives.
Just as I understood the evil acts that took thousands of innocent lives on 10/7.
Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people. If anyone wants to try to change history, be my guest, but the truth remains the truth whether you believe it or not.
Jihadi Islamists seek world domination by force all while willing to sacrifice innocent children and women. That is terrorism.
