#Newmont Mining was down 3.5% today and has come into a double support level. The blue gap window line and yellow trend line meet here at $111 and likely give a bounce.
There are however some gap fills below and #GOLD does look like it will go lower, so this should either be taken with a tight stop loss, or as a starter to ladder in.

It just exploded +35% in 14 days, following the glorious earnings published at the end of July. After a few days of headfakes below the downtrend, it simply rocketed higher like a banshee.☺️
Yesterday, it finally took a breather as it came into contact with the overlapping day-after-earnings ranges from April and February, creating a thick, resilient resistance area that we tested multiple times in May, without success.😙
Also interesting is how this latest egregious rise somewhat mirrors, in reverse, the reaction to the great February earnings. Back then, after a few days of strolling around and making new highs, #NEM finally capitulated and started a powerful downtrend that lasted for the next six months.🥲
Really a powerful chart to study in fine detail.😌
