I’ve read that you can anchor sprites in #NextBASIC on the #SpectrumNext so I’m creating #RoboBlob’s gun as a separate 16x16 sprite. No idea how anchoring works as yet, but this should make it WAY easier to change gun sprites later on! 👍🏻

Hey @Lord_Arse! I found the docs for the game I was planning to create with a friend back in the late 80s/early 90s. ROBO-BLOB It’s this that I’m considering attempting on the #SpectrumNext using #NextBASIC! I’m particularly fond of the 1up action!😂 #RetroGaming #8bitCoders

My first #NextBASIC program on the #SpectrumNext is nearing completion. 🕹 It has sprites! 🎵 It has sound! 🌈 It has more than 8 colours! I’ve kept a couple of UDGs in for old time’s sake. Don’t expect anything mind blowing though! There is still SO much to learn! #ZXSpectrum
