2024年に参加した #nocodesummit が #Builtitsummit に名前を変更して今年の6月に開催が決定。
昨年は開催予定が延期になったりしてたので、気になっていたイベントでしたが開催されるとのことで嬉しい。
今回は「Built it（作る）サミット」ということでノーコードだけでなく、AI、Vibe codingなどなどさらに幅広いアプローチがされているなと。生成AIが出てきた今では「ビルダー（作る人）」にとってツールを扱う壁が下がり、さらに”作ること”に焦点を当てれるようになってきたな。
それが「現場（個人）」が作りたいものを作れる！に繋がってきているなと感じます。なので、ノーコードサミットからビルトイットサミットに名前が変更されたのも、昨年からの生成AIやテック業界の流れを考えるとめちゃ適切で”進化”しているようでワクワクしますね！

1. No-Code is Growing Fast
No-code is a way to build apps and websites without writing any actual code. It’s a really new idea—people only started talking about it in 2018, and it’s already growing super fast. There are even big conferences, like this one, where people get together to talk all about it!
2. Building Apps (Front-End) vs. Making Them Work (Back-End)
Right now, no-code is great for designing how apps look (called the front-end), but it’s not as strong when it comes to making the app work behind the scenes (called the back-end). That makes it hard to make no-code apps bigger. But don’t worry—people are working on making the back-end better too! Companies like @nocodebackend are leading the way to fix this.
3. AI and No-Code Working Together
Some people wonder if AI (artificial intelligence, like robots that help solve problems) will replace no-code. But most people think they’ll work together. AI can help no-code platforms get even smarter and easier to use, like how Notion and Airtable already do it.
4. Can We Grow Fast Without Skipping Safety?
No-code and AI help you build things fast, but sometimes moving fast can mean skipping important steps, like keeping things safe and private. If we don’t pay attention to security, it could hurt us later by losing trust from customers. So, we need to find a balance between being quick and being safe.
5. Not Just for Small Businesses
People often talk about using no-code for small businesses or huge companies, but what about medium-sized businesses? No-code is perfect for them too, so we shouldn’t forget how helpful it can be for businesses that are in the middle.
6. Setting Up No-Code in Big Companies
It might take a lot of time for big companies to start using no-code tools, but once they do, they can build new apps really fast. It’s like doing something hard at the start, but then everything becomes easier later.
7. Some Developers Don’t Like No-Code
Some traditional developers (people who write code) don’t like no-code because they’re worried it will take over their jobs. But the truth is, no-code and traditional coding can work together. No-code can help with the easy parts, and developers can focus on the more difficult tasks.
