My intent was purely educational - to help simplify the topic for fellow clinicians through visual learning. The image was: ✅ Used without modification, ✅ Accompanied by a QR code to the original article, ✅ Shared with no commercial motive whatsoever. However, since the original author objected to its use, I respected the concern and have removed the image. Honestly, it felt a bit surprising, given the open-access nature of the publication and the spirit of academic collaboration. 💡 That said, I still believe: Using properly attributed, openly licensed images for non-commercial educational posts is not unprofessional - it enhances understanding, especially in clinical fields. Let’s continue fostering a culture of sharing, with mutual respect and clear credit.

Recently, I shared a post on genicular nerve anatomy and its relevance in knee pain management.

It included an image from a BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders article, which is openly accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.

My intent was purely educational - to help simplify the topic for fellow clinicians through visual learning.

The image was:

✅ Used without modification,
✅ Accompanied by a QR code to the original article,
✅ Shared with no commercial motive whatsoever.

However, since the original author objected to its use, I respected the concern and have removed the image.

Honestly, it felt a bit surprising, given the open-access nature of the publication and the spirit of academic collaboration.

💡 That said, I still believe: Using properly attributed, openly licensed images for non-commercial educational posts is not unprofessional - it enhances understanding, especially in clinical fields.
