My worse case scenario ☹️ came true when I reviewed a patient on critical care a year ago: 2 hourly Haloperidol given religiously, mittens and he had a language barrier...’rescued’ and transferred to geris Ward...walked out of hospital a week later. #notagoodmemory

Horrifying: patients given haloperidol for #delirium (mostly useless / harmful anyway) often have it prescribed as a discharge drug. Have you seen this in your practice? https://t.co/UqWuj3xb4L
