VIDEO – MAN SHOT IN HIS GARAGE IN MARKHAM
Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing for witnesses and seeking suspects after a man was shot in the garage of his home in the City of Markham.
On Wednesday, November 7, 2024, at 4:25 p.m., police responded to an unknown trouble call on Digby Crescent, near Aldergrove Drive. When they arrived, they located a man suffering a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injures.
Video recovered from the area shows a dark-coloured, newer-model Acura TLX sedan arrive and a suspect exit the passenger side. He is described as a Black male, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black face mask.

It is absolutely DANGEROUS that @DLeBlancNB @DonnaDasko and their pets @Polysesouvient think that licensed gun owners are the reason this happens.

VIDEO - SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOLLOWING SHOTS FIRED IN MARKHAM
Two suspects are being sought following shots being fired at a business in the area of Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue in Markham.
On October 30, 2024 shortly before 2 a.m., an officer conducting mobile patrol in the area of Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue heard what sounded like gunshots. Through investigation, it was determined that a commercial premise had been shot at multiple times.
Two suspects walked up to the front doors of a premise, brandished firearms and fired multiple times. There were no injuries.
The suspects fled to a waiting vehicle, a white sport utility vehicle, which was last seen traveling southbound on Woodbine Avenue.

In the last week, we seized 6 crime guns, laid 44 charges, and arrested 7 suspects, including 2 youths. 3 out of the 7 charged were out on bail.
