- do the physical exam for a rheumatologist on tel call
- assess mental state for a mental health team

Today I've been sent letters from secondary care asking me:
To start meds-twice
Do bloods
Do an ECG. & if normal start a medication!
Chase up a cardiology appointment
Refer onwards!
Re-refer to the same consultant on the NHS!
That's only the first 10 letters!! 😳

@DrSteveTaylor Steve,the idea that any doctor can wing it as a GP is a reflection of the (completely false) perception that being a GP is easy & that they're less talented or skilled than consultant specialists. Few really understand the demands of the role unless they've done it.
