The ill-conceived, sprawling Esmeralda 7 solar project is a huge sacrifice of undisturbed desert, teeming with wildlife & geological wonders - and it's smack in the middle of the Esmeralda/Fish Lake Area of Critical Environmental Concern we proposed in Aug. 2023.

BLM-managed lands are #NotJustForSolar - planning needs to take into account other needs, including protection for cultural heritage sites and wildlife habitat and migration corridors. Opening up pristine landscapes and sacred site to industrial energy development is not the way.
