Every crest has a story. Ours is forged by our cityโs history, fuelled by our ambition, and drives us into our future.
We are proud to introduce the new club crest chosen by our supporters to represent Newcastle United.
The new crest will be used from today and will be put in place progressively across physical signage and digital and broadcast platforms over the coming months. It will be in place on our kits for the 2027/28 season.
The best two options were overlooked. #NotMyCrest

I WANT MY QUEEN BACK. #notmyCrest
RIP to the best crest in the league. #NWSL
@OLReign @OL #notmyCrest you could have engaged with the fans and let us pick a logo we could get behind. Pringle the lion is not gonna be worn by me. I will wear my old gear.
@JessFishlock @OLReign #notmyCrest trading a symbol of a powerful woman for yet another lion? No. Pringle the lion is a crap replacement.
@LittleSkiller10 @tonyni @ChicagoFire @NewYorkRedBulls you can support the club and hate the new crest. Fans all over the world protest when their club thinks it can change the identity of the crest without fan input. Barca, Hull City, Everton and Leeds all protested new crest and got the club change course. #notmycrest #cf97
@ChicagoFire #cf97 just called to complain and will continue to do so until; the Crest resembles the club, Red is the primary color, the Crest does not resemble a gang sign of the largest gang in the city and the largest latino gang established in the United States. #notmycrest #changethelogo
That time when you are cheering on your #COYS, and then that horrible #cffc logo comes on screen and it sucks the life out of the room. Ugh, why @ChicagoFire ???? @FireIdentity #NotMyCrest #standforchicago #cf97
Please please change this logo.... this is trash.... The city of Chicago deserves better not worse... #NotmyCrest
