If I was the producer of #Stargate at Amazon MGM, I would go into the project with the original team or not at all, so I say no to the current Stargate project #NotMyStargate
@cosmicbooknews My family and me are avid SG fans.... We will not watch this trash with a sub-par director with zero history to the original series. #NotMyStarGate

Bag of hate mail, arrives at Amazon MGM HQ! #NotMyStargate
I can just see #Stargate from now on, they are earth based, because the producer is woke and doesn't like burning fossil fuels to power the gate #NotMyStargate
Who the hell is Jac Schaeffer? Never heard of him lol #NotMyStargate
I will not be watching this. #NotMyStargate
EXCLUSIVE: "WandaVision" creator Jac Schaeffer is developing a new "Stargate" TV series for Amazon MGM Studios.
This will be Amazon's second attempt at a new "Stargate" series. It was previously reported that Martin Gero was working on a new TV entry in the sci-fi franchise, but that project ultimately did not move forward.

Amazon finally announced a new Stargate series.
A lot of fans want no part of it.
Within an hour of the Jac Schaeffer news, replies filled up with #RIPStargate, #NotMyStargate, and threats to cancel Prime.
The reason is simple.
Fans spent the entire summer fighting to bring back Martin Geroβs canceled Stargate series.
That campaign passed 120,000 petition signatures.
Instead, Amazon started over with the creator of WandaVision.
βWe did not #SaveStargate,β one fan wrote. β#RIPStargate.β
Nerdrotic had an even shorter reaction:
βDOA.β
Others are hammering Amazon for ignoring the existing fanbase after canceling Geroβs version over concerns it wouldnβt appeal broadly enough.
One fan summed up the problem:
Amazon may now have a new Stargate series in development while #SaveStargate is still going strong.
That could get awkward fast.
