Pretending to be your friend is part of their game.
They want what you have because they want to be you, without doing any of the work because they can't.
Keep them busy while they're proving it & get as far away from them as possible. They can only blame you once.
If they couldn't develop it to begin with, they certainly can't sustain it.
Surround yourself with the right people. History repeats itself, and it will be nothing but misery with these toxic behaviors.
Taking good care of yourself sometimes means walking away. I compare it to a great escape. 🙏
