@_TheJasonC I upgraded from my #Note9 when Samsung stopped supporting it. I upgraded from my #Note22 when the reception became unreliable, on top of the absolutely terrible battery life, slow charging and mid camera.
So happy with my #OnePlus13 right now. I don't see a reason to upgrade.
@WorkaholicDavid 6 years.
I planned 6 years for my Samsung #Note22, but only made it 3 because it was so bad to start with...
But this #OnePlus13 is legitimately making me very happy...
Short of it being lost or destroyed, I see no reason not to keep it until End Of Support...
@AnxiousHolly Many of you seem to be having a lot better experiences with these under-display readers than I am...
The ultrasonic on my #Note22 forced me to remove the Whitestone dome if I wanted it to be even a little reliable...
I miss power-button & rear mounted fingerprint readers...
Used DeX on my #Note22 for some stuff that was theoretically easier to do on my phone than my laptop.
But, while it wasn't a very I tensive workload (searching for local files while docked to a Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 dock), the phone got super duper hot. Apps all closed.
Do you think there is a market for upgrading devices like the #Note22 or s23 series with plastic backs, for durability?
@alionlikemane @TechLiandr If I am forced to have a phone with a sealed in battery, the Note 9 is just about perfect...
If Sammy kept supporting it, I'd still be using it...
#Note22 is a downgrade in so many ways...
@WorkaholicDavid Do you have a screen protector?
I had to remove mine to get the fingerprint reader to work and touch to be more reliable on my #Note22...
I would never have upgraded past the LG V20 if it kept getting updates... So easy to repair & upgrade...
I would also have kept my Note 9 if it kept getting updates... It is so much better than my #Note22... So many more features...
Features that I actually USE...
@Cookie_lolll @BennettBuhner Note 8 was too slow & not enough storage.
Note 9 was a huge improvement (sd845+512gb+8gb).
I kept it until I stopped getting updates.
Unfortunately, the #Note22 uses the 8Gen1. Still has curved glass.
But 1tb built in is ok.

LG V20 is a beast that is better than ever!
@_TwistedTech I have a #Note22...
Samsung says I have just over 3 more years of available updates...
So unless the thing gets lost/stolen/broken (where the repair cost exceeds replacement cost), I'll be holding onto this as a daily driver for about 3 more years...
@trekker21 I don't want to go down the Spotify rabbit hole...
I have Amazon Music, which offers advertisement free listening...
Which they really do...
But the android app is so so so unbearably slow on my #Note22...
And it is dumb that I need to go through music to see podcasts...
I push my #Note22 hard. I use it to communicate, record video &photos, edit videos & photos, do work for my job, use desktop mode, write documents, edit spreadsheets.
Battery life is awful. Charging is relatively slow. It overheats.
But it's paid off.
As the owner of a Samsung #Note22, anything below 70% gives me serious anxiety...
I just have to keep spare chargers on me... Which sucks...
30%. How about you?
@AnxiousHolly You mean like the Note Lite and Note Plus?
The Ultra is already so absurdly different from the rest of the S series that I can't even compare them. My wife rocks an S23 and I have a S22 Ultra, which I always just call the #Note22... There is nothing at all comparable about em...
@dalevon_digital @GooglePixel_US @madebygoogle *#Note22
*Either Jabra Elite 65t, Samsung Galaxy *Buds Live or Pixel Buds A (in that order)
*Either Galaxy watch 5 (big) or GW4 (small)
*Keys with Samsung SmartTag
*Wallet with Samsung SnartTag
I bet if I had a Surface Duo or a Pixel Fold or a ZFold, I'd probably cary it too...
