When you're just starting out, stop trying to match the outcomes of a founder who's been building for 2 years. The more you rush, the more it creates a false sense of urgency. Without a proper strategy in place, it will absolutely go nowhere.

But spreading thin across multiple ICPs is a recipe for disaster. Each industry has its own flow, nuances, workflows, and channels. You can't generalize too soon.

In entrepreneurship, there's absolutely no end to comparison. Every other day, you'll find folks raising bigger funds, acquiring more users, riding new tech shifts, and you're just here feeling clueless. Focus on your stuff is the only way to go forward.

It feels like a common cycle: people who don't get funded chase VCs to get funds, while the ones who do complain that their VCs don't understand their business model, and every wrong decision could potentially break everything. End of the day, VCs are investors. They're in the game to grow their money, not your business. Listen to opinions, but don't follow them blindly. You still have to do all the hard work. So listen to your customers instead. Develop a deeper understanding of the domain.
