Reception noticed a lot of ice in our garden this morning. We did an experiment to see what happened when we put salt, grit, hot/cold water onto the ice. It made it go from smooth to rough but it didn’t melt as the ice was so thick! @bcw_cat #OLVEYFS we will keep watching!

Reception had a visit from the School Nursing Team to teach us about handwashing. We learnt about germs and when we should wash our hands. We saw the germs on our hands and practised washing them thoroughly. @bcw_cat #OLVReception #OLVEYFS @BDCFT
