1. For Ontario there was this system called OMSAS. It's the same #OMSAS as now.
Except this was before the internet was used for stuff like this.
So no website. It was a program on a floppy disk. You called OUAC or you wrote them a letter (!!) and they sent it to you.
The #OMSAS system for medical school admission in Ontario is ridiculous. 7 sections of 1000 characters each per candidate. And we know that these letters count next to nothing in the application process. This puts huge stress on both applicants & letter writers - please change.
