On a general note - I look today at $OPEN as a market maker that is getting its feet off the ground. Generally equity market makers earn more money when markets go down because they trade better on high volatility. Not saying real estate is the same market as equities and with similar behaviour, but in theory, if Opendoor has a perfect matching engine the company should at least produce stability over time.
