Man muss der Realität ins Auge blicken: Die Oper ist ein Kulturformat des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts. Andere populäre Unterhaltungsformen dieser Epoche – wie das klassische Hoftheater, epische Jahrmarkts-Panoramen oder die Wandermenagerien – sind längst Geschichte, weil sich der Publikumsgeschmack weiterentwickelt hat.
Es wird Zeit zu hinterfragen, warum wir Milliarden in ein sterbendes Format investieren, anstatt eine zeitgemäße, breitenwirksame Kulturförderung für das 21. Jahrhundert aufzubauen. 💸🎭 #Stuttgart #Opernsanierung #Steuerverschwendung
