Ordibank Development Update 🏛 First of all, thank you everyone for the patience as we have been building in the background and securing strategic partnerships. Over the past weeks, we have been working internally and with our security partners to analyze the infrastructure that we originally had and make sure that it's built in the best way for the long-term – including (1) first & foremost, needed security implementations to ensure safety of user funds and protocol health, (2) no bugs, (3) best possible user experience, (4) support for various token standards, such as Runes (accounted for 70%+ BTC L1 transactions in the past 24 hours), but also any other ones that arise in this fast-growing space, and (5) fast-growing L2 solution(s) support/deployment (if wanted). 🛠 What the team has been focusing on: • Rebuilding core infrastructure modules, essentially from scratch, as a number of potential long-term issues have been identified early on • Security implementations and checks when interacting with the protocol – benefits of this range from safety of user funds to overall sound protocol operations • Reworking design modules to arrive at a better UX/UI • Improving protocol logic during various interactions • Reviewing additional security partners that can assist with securing the protocol in the future • Grew the team by onboarding another developer, and are in the process of growing it further • Enabling support of various additional token standards, such as Runes • Exploring in detail various L2 solution(s) – next to the BTC L1 deployment 🟠 It's important to keep in mind that #BTC DeFi is still at its infancy, and is poised for exponential growth. While the space is growing and quickly developing, we want to build the most future-proof infrastructure that allows us to be flexible & support any ecosystem developments in the long-term. 🤝 We wanted to once again thank everyone for the continued support and are excited to increase the frequency of product-related updates. We are also planning an AMA appearance as we speak.
