One year since we released MPK, and the momentum around megakernels keeps growing. 🎉A few exciting updates: If you are at #OSDI2026, @chengxinhao1 will present MPK today. Come learn how we compile LLMs into a single megakernel. We've rebuilt MPK's runtime from the ground up for Blackwell. Faster, leaner megakernels are coming, so stay tuned for the release. The community is extending megakernels to more hardware backends. Check out this port to AMD MI350X https://t.co/0KhFfaupp8 Grateful to our 50+ contributors building with us. The megakernel era is just getting started. 🚀

One of the best ways to reduce LLM latency is by fusing all computation and communication into a single GPU megakernel. But writing megakernels by hand is extremely hard. 🚀Introducing Mirage Persistent Kernel (MPK), a compiler that automatically transforms LLMs into optimized megakernel, reducing latency by 1.2-6.7x. 🔧Tool: https://t.co/mRJ8sSg7HX 📝Blog: https://t.co/97b0YRSrS6

Excited to share our #OSDI2026 paper (July 13,2 PM): Xkernel: Principled Performance Tunability of Operating System Kernels. See you at OSDI! Xkernel enables safe, programmable, millisecond-scale tuning of Linux kernel constants—no recompilation or reboot—with up to 50× speedup.

I will be at #OSDI2026 next Mon to Wed at Seattle. I know everyone is very busy these days pushing new models, but learning new systems research is important. Happy to meet folks and discuss new ideas.

Introducing Murakkab (#OSDI2026), a resource-efficient agentic workflow orchestrator for cloud platforms! Agentic workflows are the dominant AI paradigm, but current frameworks tightly couple agent logic with model and hardware choices, leading to severe resource waste.👇
