#octaplus #OctaplusInternet internet issues yet again. This time some sites are loading and some are not. 4G internet on phone working perfectly so not a general issue that seems to apply to other ISPs.
At the moment @CityFibre is not delivering on its promises.
Anyone seriously considering this service should do a search for #Octaplus and ask if they can cope without the internet for 3 days and no response from anyone.
No internet. No TV. Nothing.
I would avoid. #CityFibre

@CityFibre #octaplus does anyone know what is going on with the Internet service? Zero customer service, no one to call, no responses to emails. Pathetic
It’s deadline day and I have had to be on mobile data all day because #octaplus are crap. Don’t buy their services.
Couple that with being a #readingfc fan and this has been the worst deadline day ever😂
@ssandison @BogOffYou @ChomboSoup @CityFibre Have to agree on the scapegoating. I'm on Vodafone, while a family member (less than a quarter of a mile away) is on #Octaplus. Both connections use the same CityFibre infrastructure (Southend on Sea, Essex), yet mine is completely unaffected.
@BogOffYou @ChomboSoup @CityFibre What I meant was are there other @cityfibre providers such as Vodafone experiencing the same problem. I can’t find any reports of such issues so it seems as usual it’s only #octaplus who is affected. My feeling is that they are trying to use @cityfibre as a scapegoat.
If you want an intermittent connection and appalling customer services, I can highly recommend #octaplus Broadband. National outage since 10am, apparently services were restored at 12:30 (they were not) and the phone number isn't even connecting! #broadband
