@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @disruptionactu @VALERIEAMALOU Q4-3/4 Then there are other actors that have done the real work of understanding blockchain value and *their own business value* and are starting to smartly shift their strategy. They know it’s better to be the change or at least be ready to ride the wave...🌊

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @VALERIEAMALOU @disruptionactu Q6-2/2. The thing is, nobody wants to drive a car that isn't convenient and look lame. So we need people with design & interaction background to help the devs. Otherwise is just tech for tech. *We need to build tech for people*.

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @VALERIEAMALOU @disruptionactu Q6-1/2. UX for sure, for a user the XP can be sometimes overwhelming. BC apps are like cars, techs are struggling so much to just make them work (and safe to drive and fuel-efficient)… they are not worrying about its style, or how hard it is to open the window.

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @disruptionactu @VALERIEAMALOU Q4-4/4 Because it's coming, and it’s going to be (mentally) disruptive.
If your company isn't into BC because the tech isn't "ready” & the market isn't “mature” that's a strong signal.. If you are not srsly in BC right now, when the market will be ready ... you won't.
#OCTAVE2019
@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @disruptionactu @VALERIEAMALOU Also
Q4-2/4 Blockchain is being used in companies mainly for prototyping (PoCs). Companies do that mostly to create a “buzz” and to put themselves on the map. Even though there is often nothing substantial behind the use case... at least it's a learning experience.

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @VALERIEAMALOU @disruptionactu Q5-3/3 Actually … even the "10% tools" are like 99% people not agreeing about which tool to use and 1% the tool being crap. So I don’t think we should expect too much of blockchain, or any tech for that matter, if we don’t address the human issues first.

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @VALERIEAMALOU @disruptionactu Q5-2/3 BC is often seen as a tool that could be use in companies to reward and motivate contributors. Facilitate processes and bring transparency! However, the issue that I have seen in management and in companies are like 90% humans and 10% tools.

@ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @VanRijmenam @Saj_JZ @VALERIEAMALOU Q6: Avoid falling into the hands of the monopolies of large compagnies, otherwise you will lose your philosophy of no intermediaries. Find concrete solutions against energy consumption and the speed of block validation

@Saj_JZ @VanRijmenam @ProgrammeOCTAVE @Jasmine @socialdiva @XavierLava @disruptionactu @VALERIEAMALOU Companies will come sooner than later and invest.
