#OilRadish provides a range of benefits to #soil #health and #quality due to its large tap root. It creates deep channels in the soil, breaking up #compaction & helping #water #filtration, which in turn will benefit future crops.

We've discovered really encouraging effects on soil structure and condition with the oil radish cover crop. When this reaches max vegetation it will be flailed and incorporated into the soil because #Soils #CoverCrops #Biofumigants #OilRadish #BritishFarming #Dyson #Farming

#Agronomists Max & Emma out sampling #covercrops in #Norfolk. This #oilradish, planted ahead of #sugarbeet, has been sampled for fresh weight, N, P, K, Mg & dry matter & shows the benefit of cover crop nutrient capture. This field will be fed to sheep over the next few weeks 🐑
