#OILSPILLUPDATE: The Unified Command is responding to a report of an oil sheen approx. a half-mile offshore Bolsa Chica State Beach. At this time, the source has not been determined. An aerial overflight is scheduled for tomorrow. I will continue provide updates as they come.

As of 2PM according to Unified Command, no sheen has been observed by on-water or aerial assets. The old wrap was removed from the line & the new wrap was installed. The line will be monitored overnight. I will continue to provide updates as they become available. #OilSpillUpdate

I joined officials at the Port of Long Beach to discuss the issue of container ships lining up along the coast of our beaches. We talked about what the Port of Long Beach is doing to mitigate wait-times for ships to dock, as well as policy ideas. #OilSpillUpdate #72AD
