A 26-year-old woman in Bengaluru, who was working for a private bank and is an engineering graduate, but a year ago, she left her job to become a full-time thief. She used to steal laptops from other people living in her PG, go back to her hometown in Noida, sell those laptops, come back to Bengaluru, live in a different PG, and steal laptops from there again, reported by The Hindu. She would wait for her PG mates to leave for a meal and would steal their expensive goods. She has stolen 24 laptops worth a total of Rs 10 lakh from PGs and software companies across Bengaluru. She was arrested by the police and taken into custody on March 26 after a person from her PG raised a complaint. 👀
