We’re kicking off our #OnShiftWithRWT introducing the Partnering Families Team (PFT) in Wolverhampton. 👋
Our Partnering Families Nurses and Midwives have received extensive training which enables them to provide bespoke support to young expectant mums, dads and their babies.
For this month's #OnShiftWithRWT feature, we'll be introducing the Partnering Families Team (PFT) and the Health Inclusion Team (a specialist team working within the PFT). 🏥

For our final stop of the day we’re at Pendeford Health Centre with Fiona Alexander and Karen Smith, staff nurses.
They are running a catheter clinic which is for people who have difficulty urinating due to a health condition or post-surgery.

76-year-old Graham Reacord, from Wolverhampton said: “The team has been absolutely fabulous, it’s an excellent service right from the receptionists, to the nurses.”

Claire Peters, Junior Sister, has cleaned, dressed, measured and assessed patient Daz Mugrove’s wounds.
Daz said: “The nurses are so professional. It would be a real struggle to clean and dress my legs myself so I’m truly grateful the nurses can support me.” ❤️

Kim Lloyd, is on reception today - an integral part of smooth running clinics 🖥📞 Kim has worked for the NHS for 24 years and enjoys the hustle and bustle of operating a busy reception desk.

We’re now joining Kelly Wood, Junior Sister - she is completing a mobility clinic today🏥 72 year old Pete Greenway, is attending clinic today, he comes twice a week for leg ulcer care and needs specialist compression bandages and wound care🦵

Say hello to Sara Shelley 👋 Sara is competing a secondment with the team and is is about to qualify as a nurse.
She said: “I absolutely love my role - wound care in particular. I enjoy putting patients at ease and seeing their wounds heal.”

We’re so excited to join the Ambulatory Clinic Team today. We’re starting the day at Pheonix Health Centre with Laura Ponsford, Senior Sister. Today we have 8 clinics running across the city for wound and catheter care.

Suzanne Rose, Surgical Nurse Practitioner, and Sophie Lawley, Trainee Surgical Nurse Practitioner, are based on SSDEC and assess, examine, diagnose and treat patients #onshiftwithrwt
Jemina Francis, Alby Benny and Deepak Pereppadan are Physician Associates in General Surgery. They support our medical teams in treating patients and are a friendly face to come to for help #onshiftwithrwt
Our fab three Sisters are shift today on SEU are Sarah Griffiths, Kam Bangra and Stacey Gabbidon-Wynter.
They support nursing staff on the shift and provide expert guidance and advice. Their role also consists of staffing rotas, appraisals and audits. #onshiftwithrwt

Next up we are joining a multidisciplinary team meeting with staff from A12, A14 and SEU to talk about discharge plans and patient flow #onshiftwithrwt
Next up we are spending some time with Georgia Thomson, Sister, and Charlotte Stangroom, Senior Sister, on Surgical Emergency Unit (SEU). Georgia has been with the unit 18 months, having previously worked for 4 years on A14 which is another surgical ward. #onshiftwithRWT
Meet our fantastic Surgical On-Call Team. They have been working through the night taking care of our patients. Due to the large number of referrals they had three major operations last night and have been working flat out.
