Under those lights, with a whistle around his neck and that familiar look of determination on his face, he taught more than blocking and tackling. He taught work ethic, toughness, doing things the right way, and loving your team like family. His legacy lives on in every player he coached, every teammate they encouraged, and every kid who grew up wanting to wear Kelly green because of those Friday nights.
