Today's March 3rd! Seven Years ago (2018), Loki made his One Piece Anime debut during #OnePiece827, funny enough, we'll probably see him in action this week (cope). Episode 827 was directed by: Yoshihiro Ueda, one of the better directors of the 2010s. The episode was full of "build up" content, acceptable filler sequences & it had very minor pacing issues for an episode that was pretty much full of dialogue and funny interactions with the Mugiwaras. Chief Animation Director, Keiichi Ichikawa, was all over the episode with his corrections, so that's a plus, cause his contributions were always "candy to the eye". The episode was a needed refresher after so many emotional episodes with Sanji during that timeline. In general, the 820's were pretty good. Gangster Gastino looking top five 🥹 #OnePiece

Today's March 2nd! Exactly a year ago (March 2, 2024), we witnessed Vegapunk's debut on the One Piece Anime during #OnePiece1096, an episode that was directed by young One Piece director, Tasuku Shimaya, who isn't a very popular ED in our One Piece Sakuga community, but we can agree that episode 1096 was/is one of his better episodes in the last few years. The episode had good lore, great art, emotion & fun moments. Perhaps some liberties with some recycled flashbacks during Part A (which were somewhat great imo), but it was mostly a great episode. I personally recommend it! Obviously, nothing crazy as our top episodes of Egghead Part I, but it was great & calm nonetheless. You could say that this was the build up for one of the best Elbaph chapters that we read not so long ago. #OnePiece

WHY @ToeiAnimation , WHY!?!?! Out of all the other bathing scenes they've had throughout the series, they just had to tone down the level of enjoyment! (Part 2/2) #OnePiece #onepiece827 Man I wish they uncensored this! And of course this is why DBS never gets any bathing scenes.
