🇨🇦🇮🇱 This thread about #OpION, the CAF evacuation flights from Israel, worked out as well as I could have hoped. It shows that comms from Canadian government officials (on most days) kept up with current events, and told the public what was going on. Using #OSINT-methods, the public were able to validate the information officials were telling us using historical flight data; publicly available information (PAI). "Trust but verify"; trust that public officials are telling the truth, but verify they are, using publicly available information.

On 23 October, the CAF completed its last scheduled assisted departure flight out of Israel in support of GAC. Between 12-23 October, over the course of #OpION, 19 assisted departure flights took place with CBSA’s help, bringing over 1600 people to safety.

On 23 October, the CAF completed its last scheduled assisted departure flight out of Israel in support of GAC. Between 12-23 October, over the course of #OpION, 19 assisted departure flights took place with CBSA’s help, bringing over 1600 people to safety.

In Harare the March was led by civil servants and other education institutions including high schools joined the March to show their solidarity.
