@MajorDaniela This is a really important point. Many research students have been encouraged to 'go digital' to complete their projects, but this can be challenging and in some cases impossible for projects not originally envisaged as digital #OpenDigitalDiscussion
@lewis_rhiannon I've found organising virtual events/conferences can be done on shorter timescales (e.g. without needing to book a venue 1 or even 2 years ahead). Perhaps this can make us more responsive to important societal and research concerns? #OpenDigitalDiscussion

@caiocmello @jfwinters @MPhillpott @katarinavieira @Cariomello I think @katarinavieira is right on the problem of passive teaching, but I find this can be challenging with remote learning too, e.g. it's easy to share a video of a lecture but can be more challenging getting people to use forums to respond/interact, etc. #OpenDigitalDiscussion
