Last night- same setup gave a reaction off VWAP (enough to easily scalp a profit), but the setup was a full stop.
Today was a new day; and we were rewarded for our discipline.
Works with any actionable "Range" in a market
Market Opening bells are just one very predictable #OpeningRange
Like I have said before- this is a basic trend following algorithm
It seeks to define a trend at its most basic level:
higher highs, higher lows -> momentum higher -> go with that bias and position on a reversion to an average in price.
Its the oldest trick in the book.
@SithHaters @IrishWave_ Tested same logic as night plays . Anchored vwap to 930 open.. 15 min orb.. wait for breakout/ vwap retest. Have to take a look at more examples but fits your range, breakout, mean reversion…. Pretty cool!

The #OpeningRange broke higher, looking for a reversion to the mean for the session anchored #VWAP
Using 1:1 risk / reward for a target of a new high; means I am 2x my "1R" expectancy per trade...
This requires me to decrease my size by 50%, so that the net risk per trade remains consistent in my approach AND so I can successfully survive the trades technical setup.
Lets break it down a little more detail:
Tonight was a a pretty quick but very clean #Forcesweep Higher
The #Globex 10 min #ORB (#openingRange broke) higher when price traded above that upper yellow line.
That begins the strategies entry signal:
Look to BUY the session anchored #VWAP (as a reversion to the mean) for a move back to new highs of the day.
I personally used a 20 point stop and target (was a little more than the new high)... use 1:1 risk with the target.
The order book was not the cleanest #CVD trend higher or divergence higher, but the idea was there... The sellers attempted to smoke market price action on that first push lower, but then the CVD was able to continue to hold on it gains with price. That was the confirmation you need to feel like "yea, the rest of the algos are with me on this push"
They popped the top, we all took our profits, and the rest was history.

Simplest #trading setup, and the only one you ever need to learn:
Define a range -> wait for momentum to decide direction
Enter on a "reversion to the mean"
In this case, we allow the Globex #OpeningRange #ORB to setup for 10 mins
When price traded above that opening range (yellow lines), I look to buy the session #VWAP with a target for a new high.
Use 1:1 risk, meaning the distance to the target (new high) is the same as to your stop.
That's it.
Don think, just do.

The setup goes like this:
Define the "10 min" #OpeningRange, and wait for price action to make a new high or low (breaking the range).
Once it does, its game on.
The session #VWAP becomes your entry point.
New high (if ORB higher) or low (if ORB lower) is your target, use a 1:1 risk.
Its the easiest trade in the world to conceptualize. THEY don't want you to know it!
No FVG's needed, no order blocks, no weird bearded little man ranting for 13 hours straight on their mentorship recordings...
Just 2 indicators and a chart.
There are instances, where a prevailing "range" might trump a traditional "#openingRange"
Tonight, I few the afternoon / end of day range on the #NQ as just that- and using it as our #ORB -> its broken higher.
#VWAP pullback and I will be looking for a long to sweep back to highs of the session.
The theory behind the trade always is a range break -> go with momentum, position on a mean reversion...
How to start February:
1. Open Laptop.
2. Wait for Blue Arrow.
3. Catch the entire move.
4. Close Laptop.
