Had it been paramount, you would have not put 70% of the population's future at stake.
See what has been done to #OpenMerit from the last two years. .
The safety of our children is paramount. Schools are institutions of trust, and anyone who violates that trust will face the strongest action permissible under law.
As committed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Government has taken decisive action in the horrific Kishtwar case involving a minor girl. The dismissal of the accused from government service under Article 311(2)(b), in connection with a case registered under the POCSO Act, reflects our unwavering commitment to the safety, dignity and future of every child.
Every child deserves a safe school and a secure environment to learn and grow.
No compromise. No exceptions.

Why would he hide the smile when the script is working?
When the script is unfolding exactly as written, the House stays noisy, debate stays buried, and open-merit students remain the collateral.
Some disruptions look spontaneous.
Some look scripted.

**Jab Open Merit kamzor ho jaye, to sirf students nahi, poora muashra mutasir hota hai.**
Insaaf ka matlab yeh nahi ke merit ko nazarandaz kiya jaye. Har policy ka maqsad barabari aur mauqon ka insaaf hona chahiye.

2,216 NORCET-11 vacancies. Open Merit (UR): just 751 seats (168 Male + 583 Female). Nearly two-thirds of the vacancies are outside the UR pool. And then they ask why Open Merit aspirants are raising their voice. The numbers answer that question. #NORCET11 #OpenMerit

So the Govt cuts EWS by 7% & RBA by 3% but conveniently refuses to deduct a single percent from the huge ST1 & ST2 quotas. How is this fair to Open Merit candidates? We are constantly being punished. This policy is pure injustice.#OpenMerit #reservation

One year and 6 months ago, Omar Abdullah promised that the #OpenMerit issue would be resolved. Time has passed, promises remain, but the Open Merit majority continues to feel ignored and sidelined. Justice Delayed is Justice Denied.
