Patient with #Optease filter placed at an #OSH 6 years ago presents with PTS including venous ulcers (Villalta 28) after 3 prior failed retrieval attempts. After #filterout and reconstruction, patient now with significantly improved PTS (Villalta 10) and healed venous ulcers.

Broken and embolized alligator forceps fragment from complicated #Optease #filterretrieval. 4 Fr #KUMPE with #gooseneck snare saved the day when conventional #ensnare catheter wouldn’t track into paravertebral vein. #irad @SIRspecialists #filterOUT #GTFO @CAIRads @pairsmedia
