We regret to inform you that our efforts to secure a generator were unsuccessful due to size constraints. As a result, we have decided to procure a new mini-substation, which is currently being transported from the warehouse to the site.
We will provide an estimated time of restoration once the installation of the new unit has commenced. This decision follows a power disruption caused by a malfunctioning mini-substation affecting the Sydenham area.
Please note that our response time to outages may be affected by heavy rainfall, which could lead to delays in our repair and restoration plans.

#OrchardsSubstation: We have successfully restored 98% of power supply at the Orchards Substation after an unforeseen outage triggered by a faulty cable at Club and Gemmel Streets in Orchards. The power outage also impacted the Norwood and Orange Grove suburbs in inner-city Johannesburg.
Despite our restoration endeavors, we have been notified that electricity remains unavailable in the 9th to 15th Ave areas in Orange Grove. Our committed operators are currently en route to resolve the outage.
