@Der_Pesse @GeePawHill What really matters to me is that everyone can understand why they choose this or that trade-off.
For my part, I am much more comfortable with an #outsideInDiamond 🔷 approach but I know why.
Sometimes our enthusiasm pushes us to generalize too much but it's unfortunate. 🙂
@cyriux My favorite heuristic is to use #BDD example mapping for the discovery, and then to use domain driven DSL in my coded acceptance tests, but without Gherkin (see #outsideInDiamond 🔷 TDD)

With #outsideInDiamond 🔷 #TDD we only stub external systems & I/Os
This helps us to refactor (i.e. to design) freely because our tests aren’t fragile despite the fact that our blazing-fast Acceptance tests cover almost all our software (i.e. the assembled black box)
