1.3 Trump is deeply desperate and hopeless, resorting to repeated bombings and threats to seize Khark Island as an extreme display of power to hide his weakness.
1.4 The United States is a full partner in Israel’s crimes and Trump’s reckless war policies in the region.
1.5 Both Netanyahu and Trump continue wars solely for their personal political survival.
1.6 Israeli society and parts of American society are trapped in collective denial regarding the realities of these wars.
1.7 Continuing these policies will lead the American empire to an existential dead end and economic catastrophe.
✅ 2- Arguments
2.1 Krystal Ball is extremely superstitious and believed that if she watched the game, the Knicks would play worse; so she turned it off and missed the greatest moment in league history.
2.2 Trump’s bombing of Iran and threats to seize Khark Island and its oil resources are exactly like a 14-year-old boy playing Call of Duty, thinking a single bold maneuver will solve everything.
2.3 Trump’s claim that “the Iranians have surrendered but don’t know it yet” is a completely unbelievable lie that reveals his pathological lying and fried brain.
2.4 Despite claiming success in Venezuela, the US actually stole their oil and gold, kidnapped their sovereign leader, and is now trying to repeat the same model in Iran.
2.5 Even if a short-term deal (like a 60-day memorandum of understanding) is reached, Israel and the neocons will never allow a real agreement.
2.6 The militaristic mindset, blind hubris, and “we are the exception” attitude have ensured that neither Israel nor America ever learns from previous failures.

✅ 4- Conclusions
4.1 Continuing the policy of “rage-quitting” in life (whether in sports or politics) leads to missing historic opportunities and falling into deeper dead ends.
4.2 Trump’s policies in Iran will not lead to any deal; instead, they increase the risk of economic disaster, American soldier deaths, and wider war.
4.3 The American empire is losing its absolute leverage over Israel and stands on the brink of existential crisis.
4.4 Collective denial (in Israel, America, and even among sports fans) is the most dangerous internal threat.
4.5 The only way out is to accept reality, abandon blind hubris, and end endless military adventures — something Krystal Ball and Kyle Kulinski consider highly unlikely in the near future.
