@mansilausdeo Nothing captures the essence of a region better than its vernacular language. Not knowing the language or script will rob us of the unexplored stories specific to any region. Having said that, the syntax might get lost in English. Small sacrifices in big picture.

@mansilausdeo @blogchatter Literature has a way of bringing a whole new world to you- cultures, experiences and perspectives. It's like travelling, there is soo much you experience without moving an inch off your sofa. So yes yes yes, vernacular literature should be translated.
