I`ve just finished typing in the Zzap! 64 #Paradroid Diaries from the original pencil notes; for future publication. Noting that my part of the diary completed 40 years ago tomorrow.

#C64 #Paradroid. A 1" thick tome of hand-written notes, including the unedited original Zzap! 64 diary, hand-drawn deck maps, zero-page variable locations and the now famous design blue sheet. All a tad rain-damaged, but history!

Bigger pity, as I pretty much only lavished him with praise for the life affecting #Paradroid, and the diary published in zzap.
Here are a couple of pre-production photos of #C64 #Paradroid showing the cross-hairs firing mode. Attempt 1 had a floating gunsight that was selected and moved freely. Attempt 2 had the gunsight move in front of your robot. Both difficult to operate.

I treated myself to an early birthday present of season 14 of classic Tom Baker #DoctorWho on Blu-ray. And yes, the Robots of Death were in my brain when designing #Paradroid as menacing robots silently creeping around make a formidable foe.
