The strayed elephant Omkar reflects the ongoing man-animal conflict, which is expected to worsen in the time to come due to human infringement into their habitats. This episode was shot to give voice to the people of Tamboxem, Pernem, who have been suffering losses due to the presence of Omkar, and also to highlight the plight of the elephant himself, who is trapped in human habitation.
