@SierraBlanton6 I donโt think thereโs any harm in writing them. After all, the more you write the better you get! Iโd just always be open to the fact that you may not end up selling the series, or even the first one. Being accepting of rejection is always a sensible skill to have! #pbquestions
@SierraBlanton6 I think write what you want to write. If you have burning ideas for those books then get them on paper! One of the others may be a stronger first story. If you have other ideas too then write those. I wouldnโt worry about trying to second guess things too much #pbquestions
#PBquestions my Pb book may turn into a 3 part series. Should I even been concerned with writing these 2 books if my first one doesnโt have an agent yet?
I would say this is true for #writers in general. Publishing is a highly collaborative process. #pbquestions
@MNgirlUK @RashmiWriting Yes, I had a Revise and Resubmit in mind. I think in a cover letter, showing you are part of a crit group shows that you take your writing seriously and are used to receiving feedback. #PBquestions
@popublishinguk Working on Picture book is a collaborative fluid effort. At every stage things can change.
Perhaps a rough you submit changes the book and the text then has to reflect that or perhaps the text needs to change and that will then change your illustration direction

I should add that I have paid ยฃ300+ to go on courses but I recognise that option comes from financial privilege. I think we all want to make publishing more accessible and more representative. DM me for a free critique (up to 3 people). #pbquestions
