some interesting assumptions i've seen made about me: 'bonk guy is a FED, he's definitely not real' 'bonk guy is paid by the bonk team, which is why he keeps aggressivley bullposting $BONK with his pnl updates' 'bonk guy works for bybit/is paid by bybit, and that's why he keeps posting pnl of trades on the exchange' 'bonk guy is a binance cabal plant and paid shill' the irony is that the majority of the people perpetuating the above baseless rumors will make more money if they simply spend more time clicking the green button instead of being obsessed with attacking me for the avoidance of doubt: 1. i am not a FED. of course it's up to you whether or not to believe that, since i wouldn't admit it even if i was one. no one would. but yeh, i'm definitely not a FED! 2. i have never been paid by the bonk team in any capacity whatsoever. i literally turned $16k to $20m (peak upnl) on bonk and it was my bonk trade that made *this X account* go viral, so if you're struggling to understand why i bullpost bonk and bonk eco more than any other project in light of that fact then you might need to re-take an IQ test! 3. i have never been paid by bybit in any capacity. i also do not work for their team. in fact they have refused to list coins i have recommended in the past, and it is often incredibly difficult for me to reach their team. so, there is absolutely no relationship or closeness between us. i use bybit because it is simply the best perps trading CEX in the industry: in terms of availability of coins, depth of liquidity, and integrity of the CEX (i've noticed Bybit does not actively hunt user positions or attempt to sabotage user trades, unlike other top CEXs)! i once created an affiliate account with Bybit at their prompting (after i went viral, not before!), and i've been too lazy to post about it. i think i only posted about it once or twice, but since i get fudded so hard by people claiming i work with them i might as well start pushing it harder here's is my Bybit affiliate link if you would like to sign up to trade perps on the best perps CEX in the world: https://t.co/azNDYiIEQf (i think you should get some bonus or something if you join and trade via my link!) 4. i do not work for binance, i'm not a part of their cabal, and i have never received any form of payment from them in any capacity. it's funny seeing people call me a binance cabal plant when they won't even list most of my coins: i've publicly called them out for not listing FARTCOIN, and i think they do a very shitty job when it comes to their approach to memecoins in general, in a way that results in most of their users losing money. ofc i'm always open to giving them advice on memecoins if they ever feel like reaching out 5. i have never taken a paid shill ever, and odds are that i would never take one—and if i do i will disclose it as such. i want to be clear that i do not have issues against others doing paid shills, and i find the whole condescending, holier-than-thou attacks directed at influencers that get paid ridiculous. i think influencers are a net positive to projects if used properly, so i do not share the dislike that exists against influencers getting paid to talk about projects, although i do think it is wise to disclose (at least that's what i'd do). i'm addressing this because i see many continue to insinuate that i was paid to long a coin and post the pnl or shill stuff. that has never happened and will likely never happen, God willing! of course i do occasionally invest in private sales of tokens i like, but i have only ever publicly tweeted about two of them IIRC: Simon's Cat which i was very vocal about (i still haven't sold a token of it fwiw) and Nillion (i've been too lazy to even claim my private sale tokens). i am also always clear to projects that want me in their private sale that i might never tweet about their token, and that i would not participate if it is a hard requirement that i shill them. i only tweet whatever i like, whenever i feel like it at the end of the day, i've come to learn that i'm a very controversial figure: some like me, some hate me, some like to hate on me, and some are envious of me, etc... which is all fine btw! i do think it helps to set the record straight about some of the most common misconceptions about me, however. whether you choose to believe it is up to you!
