Last month, on June 7, the #PIP2 Executive Board met in France at @CEAParisSaclay.
This P2PEB meeting was focused on the project’s move from the planning stage to the execution stage. We discussed our methodologies, deliverables, overall performance and next steps.
🚧 Construction update:
On Wednesday, crews completed a 350-cubic-yard concrete pour for the high bay building portion of the #PIP2 Linac Complex. This is the last of three pours for the base slab at the level that will house the start of the accelerator components.

🚧 On Wednesday, crews completed a 252-cubic-yard concrete pour for the 20"-thick reinforced base slab of the #PIP2 Linac Complex's High Bay Building!
The contractor will place the remaining base slab pours over the next 2 weeks and then move on to wall pours.
