Top Tweets for #PLEZI

Former First Lady Michele Obama and NBA star Stephen Curry have collaborated to launch PLEZi Hydration, a new sports drink designed to offer a healthier alternative for active individuals. The name “PLEZi” is inspired by the Haitian Creole word for “fun” or “joy.” This initiative holds special significance given Curry’s reported familial ties to Haiti. According to Sportskeeda, his mother, Sonya Curry, is of mixed heritage, and her mother, Candy Adams, was born in Haiti in the 1940s before relocating to the United States. The drinks can be purchased nationwide on Amazon and at select grocery stores in California. The word “PLEZI,” “fun” or “joy,” is a marketing gem—easy to say, memorable, and a clear tribute to Haiti’s vibrant spirit • __
